30/01/11 We've started the new year with a losing month unfortunately. It would be nice to be able to win every month but it's simply not possible at this very challenging game. There were a couple of positives though. Firstly, I can't recall another month where so much bad luck has gone our way. Everything thing that could have gone wrong did and we even lost our share of close finishes. Secondly, the month was looking very ugly until we came home with a wet sail backing winners at $7.10 and $4.30. We now move on to next month when hopefully a bit more luck in running comes our way!
27/12/10 We've now finished 2010 with a profit of 52.3 points for an annual POT of 15%. Whilst I would have liked to have done better it's a respectable result and another year that my members have finished in the black. It's also another great result for small punters ($5 bets) who have covered their membership fees and still made a profit on top. We now move on to 2011 where once again I'll be helping members find those runners that will be going around at good odds in comparison to their chances of winning.
18/12/10 A fantastic day for members as they backed a $5.90 winner at Kembla Grange. It's been a very quiet month and we've only backed four runners so for the one winner. Thanks to our staking plan we are now in profit for the month so hopefully Santa is kind to us for the rest of the festive season!!
28/11/10 Overall for November we managed a small profit. We found a winner on Saturday at the Gold Coast that paid $3.30 although our selection on Sunday at Townsville could only manage second. A small loss last month followed by a small profit this month means that our betting bank has been steady in that time although it's much better than a loss which is what most punters endure. Overall our strike rate was up significantly in November but the winners were short priced. Nevertheless a profit is a profit and we now look forward to next month and rounding out 2010.
21/11/10 Members have had a quiet time of things recently with our betting banks basically going nowhere. We did manage a $2.60 winner today but that was only half the dividend as he was one of the winners in a dead heat! We are remaining patient though as we know the profits will return. Speaking of which one of our bookmakers gave memebrs a free $20 bet during the week and I told them to plonk it all on a runner in the Railway at Ascot for a place at $3.13. The horse rocketed home from the rear to land second and added $42.60 to members betting banks that won't be included in my P/L Results!
31/10/10 We finished 4.8 points down in October and it was the first losing month in five for members. We found some more winners at $4.70 and $1.90 but just couldn't get that extra nice priced winner that we needed. To add to our frustration were are few good priced seconds that would have made all the difference including one $6.00+ pop at Pinjarra that should have won with a leg in the air but ran into the back of other runners at least twice over the final stages. We never like losing but next month is a new one and hopefully we can get back into the black.
17/10/10 Unfortunately we had our worst weekend in quite some time this weekend. We backed six runners and none of them could manage a collect for us. Four did place though whilst the other two finished fourth and fifth. So the selections are running well and we will just remain patient until the luck comes our way again.
09/10/10 A terrific day for members again as they backed winners at $5.90 and $2.60. We started the month slowly with just the one loser last weekend but with two winners from four bets today members are now in profit for the month. Hopefully there are lots more before the month is over!
26/09/10 We couldn't find anymore winners for the month unfortunately. Members still managed a profit though with a monthly POT of 45%. That's now five consecutive months in the black!
18/09/10 A terrific Underwood Stakes day for members as they backed a winner at Toowoomba which paid an outstanding $9.70. It would have been an unbelievable day had our other selection at Morphettville saluted at $8.90 but unfortunately he was pipped in the shadows of the post to finish second. September is now nicely in profit and my Spring Carnival members are off to a flyer!! Memebers POT for the year is now over 19%. Amazing!
11/09/10 It's been a quiet month for members so far but they managed to find at winner today at Rosehill which paid $3.80. We're currently in the red for the month but not by much so hopefully a nice priced winner is just around the corner.
29/08/10 While we didn't have a bet today members have returned another profit for the month. That's four consecutive months where they have made a profit. What's not to like? ;-)
28/08/10 Another terrific day for members as they backed a winner at Doomben which paid $4.20. It's been a reasonably quiet month and we've only found two winners but we're in profit and that's all that really matters!
08/08/10 It hasn't taken long but August is already in profit. Today members backed a winner at Hobart that gapped 'em by five lengths and paid a terrific $7.70. On days like today I always receive a number of emails thanking me for my selections. Whilst I appreciate them very much my real satisfaction is knowing that my members are making money. This is a brutal business but my members always have the odds in their favour!
31/07/10 Unfortunately we couldn't find anymore winners for the month but it has been an excellent month all things considered. Members POT for the month was a whopping 100% and currently stands at an outstanding 16% for the year. Any annual POT of over 10% is brilliant!
25/07/10 We can't win every weekend unfortunately. :-( This weekend we backed five duds who couldn't manage a place between them! Whilst we certainly back our share of losers we're always getting excellent value and that's why my members win over the longer term.
17/07/10 Members are loving life on the punt this month! Today they backed winners at $8.70 and $6.30. Our $8.70 winner absolutely smashed 'em by over five lengths and won like he was a $1.50 favourite with a leg in the air! It gives me a great thrill to know that my members are backing winners.
11/07/10 Well we can't win everyday. Today my selection would have paid a lovely $11.70. He led the whole way up the straight until the runner off his heels jumped out of the ground to nail him on the line at $109 to one! Sometimes you just have to shake your head and say that's racing. ;-)
10/07/10 An outstanding day for members with our two selections saluting at $5.30 and $2.70. July now shoots further into profit and members profit on turnover for the month to date is an obscene 100% plus!
03/07/10 A fantastic start to the month with members backing a winner at Toowoomba which paid a very nice $6.40. It would have been an unbelievable day had our other bet saluted as it would have paid a whopping $38.60 but it could only manage second. It's only taken one weekend but July is already in profit!

26/06/10 Well what can I say? Another day another winner! This time we saluted at a very nice $4.70. June has been outstanding for members!
13/06/10 The members selection at the Sunshine Coast today gapped them in the straight and saluted with a leg in the air to pay a fantastic $12.20. June is now nicely in profit.
12/06/10 Another profitable day for members with one of my selections holding on by a neck at Toowoomba to pay $4.00. I also told members to stay away from the Stradbroke as it was wide open. I thought it would be a great race and it was but as I suspected the winner got home at big odds.
31/05/10 May started slowly for us but members did get some winners at $3.90, $3.20, $2.90 and $3.80. I happy to report though that we managed to turn a small profit when our selection at the Sunshine Coast saluted at a unbelievable $11.70. The horses form was better than the priced suggested and I noticed that a top metro rider took the ride. A brilliant way to round out the month!
30/04/10 April was a poor month for us. Unfortunately we have to endure runs like this if we are to make a profit longer term. We still backed winners at $2.50 and $5.30 as well as some other shorter priced runners but we just couldn't manage that one collect from a good priced runner that we needed.
31/03/10 It turned out to be a disappointing month with more close placings in the second half of March. We can't do much other than remain patient though as we know in the longer term our luck will change and our betting banks will start heading north again.
13/03/10 The winners just keep coming! Today members backed an $8.70 winner at Randwick. Savvy members whose used Luxbet's Best of the Best product got a juicy double figure collect which boosted their profits even more.
06/03/10 A good day and we only backed one runner! It only paid $2.50 but a profit is a profit is a profit.
