Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use your ratings?
By concentrating on my top rated horses you can Dutch bet multiple horses or bet exotics like the First Four, Trifecta, Quinellas, the Daily Double, the Running Double and UNiTAB account holders can also bet the Treble. You can also look for value as I assess what I believe are the real odds of each of my top five rated horses. I suggest you use OVER THE ODDS as they will pay you the best of the three TABs.
How many days per week will you provide me with ratings?
I will provide you with my ratings seven days per week. You will get every meeting on Monday and Tuesday. From Wednesday to Sunday you will get all metro meetings and any provincial or country meetings which I am considering for my Quadrella selections that afternoon.
What is the Quadrella?
The Quadrella is a bet where you must pick the winner of four races nominated by the TAB. It is usually (but not always) the last four races on the card.
How much will a Quadrella cost me?
The cost of a Quadrella is calculated by multiplying the number of horses that you select in each leg (race). For example, if in the first leg you had 5 horses, in the next leg 6 horses, in the leg next 4 horses and in the last leg 7 horses the cost would be calculated as follows: 5 x 6 x 4 x 7 = $840 or 5 x 6 = 30; 30 x 4 = 120; 120 x 7 = $840.
How much will I have to bet with the TAB using Lucky Phil’s Tips Quadrella selections?
Many of my members flexi bet around ten percent of the full cost which is $62.50. A full bet is normally $625. Sometimes I add an extra horse which increases the cost to $750.
I’m a small investor. Can I still bet the Quadrella?
Yes. You can flexi bet the Quadrella with the TAB as low as one percent. With Lucky Phil’s Tips selections you could bet as little as $6.50 or $7.50 when I add an extra horse. As stated above many of my members flexi bet around ten percent which costs $62.50.
On what days do you provide your Quadrella selections?
My Quadrella selections are provided from Wednesday to Sunday on meetings that I select. Usually I select between one to three meetings except on Saturday when I select three to four meetings (usually metro Vic, NSW, Qld and SA). If there is a Public Holiday or a Cup meeting I may provide Quadrella selections.
When do I get the Quadrella selections?
Lucky Phil’s Tips selections are posted on the website around thirty minutes before the first leg (race) of the Quadrella. Sometimes I will ask members to check the website 10 minutes before the first leg for any late changes.
How much will it cost me to join?
My fees are $200 for six months, $80 for one month and $40 for one week.

Ka Ching is the best way to start. Philstips has the best ROI i have ever seen. I have been sports investing for over 4 years and have seen a lot of tipsters. For the small outlay of subs the returns on investment are phenomenal. Even better is the results are over many years so no flash in the pan. There is a strike rate of around 34% for the Quaddie, so there can be a long run of outs, but the wins are huge when they come.

I have been a member of Phil's Tips since his website was introduced a few years ago. Like all of us I had gone down the costly road of investing hard earned dollars on the so called "expert" tipsters claiming they had the next best thing if you rang before 11:00 saturday morning and left your credit card details. Rubbish. We all know it, but some of us have been very fortunate to have been introduced to Phil somehow and become part of his tight knit group of clients that are enjoying sipping from the tote pools each week. He spends endless hours every week studying form for both midweek and weekend meetings and with commitment and a disciplined approach to betting I have been able to generate a regular source of additional income. Most importantly though, Phil is a real person and not a company hiding behind a domain name or a 1800 number. Hard to believe I know. I have had numerous conversations with Phil on the phone and met up a couple of times at Caulfield for social days. This is how a service should be. No glossy ads flaunting rediculous strike rates and no red hot tips. Phil is an investor not a tipster.
PS I should also mention that his fees are more than affordable.

I've been using Phil's tips now for over 3 years, and am well and truly in front. It amazes me how many quaddies get up at good prices. With the introduction of Flexi betting, there is now no excuse to take advantage of this great service.

Hello all, what do i say about someone whos trying to make me money and actually doing a pretty good job at it. Why do i use Phil? My sitution is this like all of us we are all busy, so basically i use him to do my homework and then i put his study to the test. Now i think i've been in his tipping program for about 4 years and to be honest i'm not sure if i'm in front or not' but i enjoy a punt and he takes the hassle out of me having to do my homework. The last 6 mths have been extremely good. Phils very easy to deal with' his fees are very reasonable actually i probably call them cheap. Like everything in life you either have a crack at it, or you just walk through it. In finishing you can't take it with ya so when you win put it to good use like myself i have a goal 2009 ASHES. Last week a great deposit of just over $15,000 Keep it up Phil and i hope you keep it going.

I have found Phil's tips to be close to the mark and throwing some winners at good odds. I tend to use the tips for the basis of my quaddie selections with good results. I have found Phil to be reliable and importantly contactable when I am not internet accessible. Keep up the good work Phil!
